First professional sport game

Dear Aidan,

I love sharing so many firsts with you. On Thursday I won 2 preseason basketball tickets at work for this Sunday- today. Daddy and I have been to many basketball and hockey games together, but this was the first time we went with you. Even though it was for 2 tickets the venue allows you to bring a child under 23 months of age as long as you sit on our laps. That was totally fine by us. To make it even better it was a gorgeous day and going to the game was such an amazing thing to end the weekend off with. Mommy's been so burnt out at work and I was bringing work home every weekend. Plus, I was doing freelance work too on the side. I felt like this was the first weekend where I could totally relax and just enjoy everything.

All strapped in and getting ready to go to the game. Daddy wanted to put Converse high-tops on your for the game. You look so cute in it!

Because the game was at 1pm which is usually around your nap time we had to get you to sleep in the car on the way there. Unfortunately you fell asleep when we were halfway there so you didn't get much sleep... Oh brother, you know what that means...

Surprisingly you were pretty attentive and good on the 1st quarter. I think you were so enthralled at everything. You kept looking at everything and you were so fascinated by all the sounds and people.

We had pretty good seats. Although they were preseason tickets against the Phoenix Suns they were still $175 each!

Look how good you are! You even wore your basketball bib. How fitting.

Go Raptors Go! They won btw. Yay!

You got pretty squirmy after the 2nd half so daddy had to hold you near the exit and watch the rest of the game standing up, but I think it was a great experience. I can't wait to take you when you are a little older. Oooh, I would looooooove to take you to a hockey game.
