My poor baby

You know what I hate? I hate feeling so helpless whenever you are sick. I want to do everything in my power to make you feel better, but when I don't know what to do and I can't make you feel better it just drives me nuts!
You still are throwing up. Last night, I slept in your room because I was so afraid that you were going to throw up in the middle of the night and choke from your vomit. I didn't sleep a wink because I woke up to every sound you made. In the morning you looked a little better so I gave you some milk. After about 30 minutes you rested your head on daddy's lap and threw up all over him and our living room. Let me just say that your vomit STINKS! I was already so tired from cleaning up last night's vomit in the car that I was so upset having to clean more. We decided that it was time to take you to the walk-in clinic. I already read online yesterday that your symptoms weren't severe, but I knew I had to get something to prevent your vomiting. I read that electrolyte fluids (Pedialyte) were good and I should be feeding you a BRAT diet (banana, rice, apple sauce, toast). We drove by 2 walk-in clinics near us, but they were both closed so we went to a pharmacy and talked to a pharmacist. She recommended Pedialyte and children's Gravol (to help the vomiting and feelings of nausea). We then went to a supermarket and we bought apple sauce, banana, and vegetables (for making a Korean rice porridge). As soon as I gave you both medicine you seemed to be better. You haven't thrown up yet and you even ate 2 bowls of jjuk (Korean rice porridge) and a whole banana. However, mommy is still going to stay home tomorrow to watch how you are. Please get better my son. I love you and it kills me when you aren't feeling well :-(
