Jenn & David's wedding

Today was my cousin, Jenn, and David's wedding. Daddy and I tried to put you (Aidan) down for a nap before the ceremony (4pm), but it was unsuccessful. We knew that if you didn't sleep you would be a total nightmare at the wedding…

The wedding ceremony and reception was downtown. It was a gorgeous day and you can
see here that you were pretty delirious from not sleeping.

So many people commented that you looked like a tennis player or a cricket player. Daddy
dressed you and he thought you looked fly.

Thumbs up!

The wedding took place at the Royal Conservatory of Music. This is where mommy took
her piano and cello exams back when I was a young girl.

Oh no. That is a face of a boy that is up to no good.

Ring boy, Ethan and flower girl, Naomi. I asked Jenn if she could make you a ring boy
alongside her nephew Ethan and she agreed, but I guess I didn't get the memo when she
changed her mind. I wasn't happy about that.

Although you were pretty crazy running around there's no denying that you are one cute kid.

This is the washroom. I was in here a lot changing Kendall's diapers.

The washroom was beautiful.

Ethan and Naomi doing the peace sign. Naomi, or Nay Nay, is so cute!

This is the new extension of the Royal Conservatory of Music. It's a dichotomy of old and
modern.

I love this archway.

A lounge area.

And this is where the wedding ceremony took place. Isn't it just gorgeous?

My aunt, Soon Ja, and David's mom after they lit the candles for the lighting of the candles.

The handsome groom, David, and his parents.

And my beautiful cousin, Jenn. Her dress was amazing!

They were married by a Jewish cantor under a handmade Chuppah.

The breaking of the glass.

Mr and Mrs Krulik.

…And they lived happily ever after.

Honestly if I was single this would have been such a fun wedding to go to, but with 2 young
kids it was a stressful time. Look how beautiful the reception area is.

Wedding favours for the kids- different flavoured jelly beans.

Our table.

The menu. I got the black cod and daddy got the beef duo. They were all delicious.

Aidan Kim.

All the adults got customized CDs of David and Jenn's favourite love songs as wedding
favours.

The CDs were tucked in the table napkins.

It was an intimate wedding and everyone looked like they were genuinely having a good
time. Nothing dragged on like some weddings I've been to.

I loved all the flowers. So classy.

And my favourite niece, Emma. She was just recovering from an ear infection.
So as I mentioned earlier, I would have totally enjoyed myself if I didn't have 2 young kids with me. You were a total nightmare at the beginning slapping your Toronto grandpa's face when he tried to hold you and you even kicked one of your Toronto grandma's friend on the shin when she was complimenting you on how good looking you were. When we tried to scold you were would talk back and act all crazy. As soon as dinner started I had to turn on my iPhone to the Treehouse app to get you to sit still. I don't know what I would have done without that. Baby Kendall, on the other hand, was a dream. She slept the whole time and didn't make a peep. It was hard breastfeeding her every couple of hours, but other than that it was fine.
