First day with 2 kids (ack!)

"I'm going to miss you daddy."

That's what I kept saying to your daddy yesterday as today would be my first full day taking care of 2 kids under the age of 4. It didn't help that you are highly contagious and I'm worried sick that Kendall will contract impetigo :-(

However, the day wasn't so bad. Kendall slept most of the day (it's the nighttime when she doesn't sleep!) so I was able to play with you for most of the day. We started the day with me feeding you breakfast while you watched cartoons. Then we did morning exercise where we stretched different parts of our bodies. I noticed that you wouldn't life up your right arm because that's the area where you have the most blisters in your arm pit area. But besides that you seem to be healing a little. The skin is starting to crust over so your skin isn't so raw anymore.

We played for most of the afternoon in the basement with me getting you to do some of your exercise books that your Vancouver grandparents bought for you while they were in Korea a couple years back. It has a lot of educational exercises that you seemed to be very interested in. Then you played with your LeapFrog Tag books and you already seemed to have memorized some of the songs and pages. Quite amazing for a 3-year old… 

This is one of your favourite pages of this book. When you tap on the green aliens they sing a song with the
lyrics, "We are green, we are green, we are green…" You sang along with it which was sooooo cute.
