Daddy and I went to Ikea today to buy a new storage unit for your playroom. It was starting to get a little out of hand in there. Plus, we wanted to get something that we could eventually move down to the basement once we finished it.
We ended up getting the EXPEDIT- a favourite of mine. I already have 2 EXPEDIT units in our house. We got the 79cm x 79cm EXPEDIT and got 3 of them in white and put them side-by-side in a horizontal format. That way you can reach all the cubby holes and pull out and put away your toys. We got 6 LEKMAN boxes in red and put them in every other shelf. I'm now loving how your playroom is starting to look. It's much more spacious and organized. Somebody (I won't name names) told me way back when you were still in mommy's belly that our house would turn for the worse once you were born. They said that all our nice furniture and decoration would have to be put away to make our house more 'child-friendly'. Well, to comment on that, I don't think that's necessary. I still have all my furniture out and all my decoration. You know not to touch it and that's that. I think there should be boundaries where kids' things should be and where grown-up things should be.
