...And you're back!

Dear Aidan,

What a difference a day makes. Mommy and daddy were worried about how you were going to cope at daycare after almost a week of being away. Daddy even called your daycare at noon to check up on you. Luckily you were fine. Your Toronto grandma and grandpa wanted to come over today after work to see you because I told them yesterday that you were really sick this past week. I didn't want to worry them so I didn't tell them how sick you were. When I came home around 8pm you had just woken up from a nap. Apparently you were a little grumpy when your grandparents arrived. However, after your nap you were just the cutest little entertainer. You were showing your grandparents all the stuff you had learned so far and you were talking and laughing. You can now point to your nose when we say 'nose', make a heart with your arms on your head when we say 'sarang hae' (I love you in Korean), shake your head when we say 'do-ri-do-ri', move your tongue back and forth when we do it, high five, clap your hands, put your fingers to your palms, raise your arms to the sky when we say 'man-seh' (hooray in Korean), wave your arms up and down when I say 'Fly like a bird!' I was lucky enough to tape you doing all that.

Afterwards daddy put you to sleep. You didn't even cry when he put you down. What a relief. I hope that you never have to go through what you went through last week. Your Toronto grandma was telling me that after a bout of sickness that's when babies have a growth spurt. Let's see if that happens...
