First sick day

Dear Aidan,

So I think I know now why you were so cranky this week. I think you were coming down with a cold. Your grandpa from Vancouver was sick while he was here and I think he gave you a cold. Grandpa was very worried that he was going to get you sick so he didn't hold you that much near the end of his trip, but it seems like that didn't work. Your symptoms have started showing today. You've been sneezing a lot (resulting in a whole lot of snot coming out of your nose) and you've started coughing this phlegmy cough. You don't have a fever yet, but we'll see tomorrow. I feel really guilty for being so frustrated with you now because I realize it was because you weren't feeling well.
Today, you were very lethargic. You actually went to bed now. I think you were pretty exhausted. I think you'll wake up in the middle of the night, though. I guarantee that will happen.

Anyways, I captured a couple of photos of you with a runny nose. You looked so sad and helpless. :-(
Tomorrow, mommy is going to drop by your future daycare and drop off the deposit cheque. You'll be enrolled there starting in July 12. That will be a very sad day for me...
