Happy Canada Day!

Dear Aidan,

While I'm writing this our neighbours are setting off fireworks. It's quite noisy! I hope you don't wake up.
I took this photo of you a few hours ago and as you can see you are blowing bubbles with your mouth. That means you are tired. Usually while you are blowing the bubbles you murmur, 'umma'. And the more tired you are the bigger the bubbles get!

Here's a video (sorry for the horrible quality!) I took of you a few weeks ago at your Toronto grandparent's house when you started blowing bubbles.


Today was Canada Day. Daddy worked from home for a few hours, but after that we went to Vaughan Mills to do a little window shopping. Bad idea. It was so packed and we didn't even have time to really go into any stores. Luckily you were sleeping in your stroller the whole time. I would not have liked it if you were cranky and we were surrounded by shoppers. So that's about it. Nothing special.

Oh, I just got an invitation from Melissa inviting us to her son, JP's, first birthday party. JP was born a few weeks after you so I think you'll be friend's with him when you are older. JP's dad, Will, is going to take photos of you for your birthday party for us. He's a pretty good photographer. I'm just happy that we have friends that we can ask to do that for us.
