Quick update

Dear Aidan,

Sorry I haven't been updating much. It's really hard when the in-laws are here. I'm constantly doing stuff- cooking, watching over you, playing with you, taking your Vancouver grandparents to places they want to go (Home Depot, Sheridan Nurseries, Galleria, etc. etc.). So much has happened since my last post. Most important was your birthday party. It was a huge success. Everything went so smoothly. I had nightmares about it so I was really stressed out. Luckily you were in your best behaviour. I can't be happier. Will, JP's father, took some photos of your party so I'm uploading one of my favourite pictures that he took. He took a lot more, but I don't have time to upload it all now. Auntie Sara was in the background making you laugh. That's why this photo turned out so nice. BTW, on your doljabi you chose money first (a $100 bill to be exact) and then you picked hockey stick. That means you will be a rich hockey player!!

We are in the midst of putting interlock in the front of our house and back of the house so it's been a bit crazy. I was hoping to do some last-minute things before I go back to work, but I've been mostly stuck at home making sure your Vancouver parents had me if they needed me.

On another note, you are now walking! Well, you were walking before, but you only took 3-4 steps before you fell over. Now you can walk from one end of the room to another and more without falling down. You are starting to practice getting up on your own without holding on to anything, but I think you need more practice. I took a video of you walking today, but I will have to upload that later on. It's so funny because you walk with both arms raised (I guess to keep your balance), but you look like a drunk person. Kekeke. Daddy still hasn't seen you walk because he's been mostly outside helping your Vancouver grandpa with the interlock.
