You got your first birthday present today from Auntie Jane. She came in from Vancouver today and your Vancouver grandparents came in yesterday night. It's been a bit of an adjustment for mommy because I was used to having you to myself for so long so it's a bit hard giving up that reign. Your Vancouver grandma hasn't left your side since she came last night, which is understandable since she missed you so much.
You know, yesterday morning when you woke up and mommy took you in mommy's bed and breastfed you, I actually cried. I cried because it was going to be the last day with you until I go back to work. I knew that I wasn't going be spending one on one time with you until I returned back to work. Also, yesterday was the last day I breastfed you. Today I didn't feed you. I'm so sad inside, but I'm trying to keep a happy face because your birthday is coming.
