Happy birthday my sweet

Dear Aidan,

Happy happy birthday. I can't believe it's been 1 year since you arrived on this earth. It's been a busy week with mommy heading back to work and your Vancouver grandpa leaving today for Vancouver. Sorry I wasn't able to make this day special for you. Mommy came home late again- at 7:10pm so I didn't get to spend that much time with you. I will make it up to you this weekend. I promise.

Here's what I know about you so far:

- You have 8 teeth (4 upper, 4 lower).
- You love to hold on to your foam play mat connectors while you walk.
- You walk with your arms raised up in a 90 degree angle. I think it's for balance purposes.
- You like talking jibberish.
- You love taking baths.
- You love it when mommy sticks out my tongue out at you. You always laugh aloud.
- The song 'Hush Little Baby Don't Say a Word' works wonders with you! I think it's because I used to sing it to you while you were inside mommy's belly.
- You always crawl to the bathtub when daddy is preparing your bath water. The sound of the bathtub faucet is the cue.
- You love eating marbled cheese sticks and yogurt.
- You started making fish faces.
- Your bedtime is 9:30pm and you wake up between 7:00am to 8:00am.
- You started slapping the water in your bath water to create splashes today. You made a mess in the bathroom mirror! All you did was laugh when you did it. You are such a rascal.
- You love watching morning cartoon shows.
- Cars driving by fascinate you.
- You no longer sleep in your car seat. You used to sleep right away when we used you put you in there. Now all you do is watch outside the window. I think the cars driving by fascinate you.
- You did a handstand thingy yesterday. You put your head down while you had both palms touching the ground with your bum raised it the air. In Korea that means that you are going to have a sibling soon.
- You take 1-2 naps a day now. When you take a nap it's around 1-2 hour naps. Or it can be as short as 10 minutes.
- It's really hard putting you to bed now. You always fight sleep.

That's all I can think of right now because I'm literally falling asleep.
