Thought I would share a photo of my belly before baby Kendall arrives into this world. I took this photo yesterday morning on my last day at work. I can't believe I worked til the very end! I wasn't planning to, but my boss freaked out when I wanted to take 2 weeks off before my due date.
I ended up working until 10:30pm yesterday. Can you believe it??? It's because I'm a one-man show at work and my maternity leave replacement looked overwhelmed. I wanted to make sure I got everything done on my to-do list so that I wasn't dumping her with so much stuff. Still… I'm worried. I worry that my boss may ask me to come back early. I don't want to. I want to take a full year off. I know she can't force me, but still I worry…
I think my belly is a lot smaller than when I was carrying Aidan. I only gained about 27lbs. A pretty decent weight gain for somebody of my stature. I'm planning to take it easy today. Freedom!!!
