I read online that you should move your toddler to a toddler bed (from a crib) once they start trying to climb out of their crib or if they just don't like being confined. You were both of those. Last week you actually succeeded in climbing out of your crib and it shook both mommy and daddy quite a bit. Daddy was hesitant on changing the crib to a toddler bed, but I insisted. He was worried that you would fall out of the bed since you tend to move around quite a bit while you are sleeping. My friends, though, told me that that would happen, but it wouldn't happen as often as we would think it would. Plus, I was so sick and tired of you waking up in the middle of the night- every day this past week- crying. I think it was because you felt scared and alone in that crib of yours. I'm hoping that this new change would change everything. It better! I've been exhausted this whole week because of tending to you every night.
You did sleep in it this afternoon during nap time and it was fine. I just put you down to sleep now. We will see if you wake up in the middle of the night. I'm curious to see if you will stay in your bed or will climb out and walk over to our room.
