Dear Aidan,
I'm sorry about the lack of posts and photos lately. I've been so busy with work and since you are so much more active now it's harder to take good photos of you. Plus, when I get home now it's dark so the lighting is horrible. I know it's not a good enough excuse, but I promise to take more pictures of you next week. The good news is that daddy took yesterday and today off. Mommy took today off from work so you weren't in daycare for the whole day. Yesterday daddy picked you up early from daycare (he had to do a few errands in the morning) and he took you to your Toronto grandparent's cafe in the afternoon. Daddy always tries to help my parents by stocking up on pop in their pop machine and just refilling all the stock. He took the photo of you above helping him stock up the chocolate display. Aigoo aigoo. I think you were being more of a distraction than actually a helping hand... Haha.
Afterwards, daddy went to Solutions to buy you some storage stuff for your playroom. Daddy loves buying stuff like that. You'll probably be like him in that way. It's funny because I don't know where he got that from. His mom is so messy! So is his sister! I guess sometimes it's not hereditary...
While daddy was there he put you in the shopping cart and he was telling me today that you thoroughly enjoyed it.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to see you yesterday before I came home from work because I was trying to have everything off my plate at work before my day off today. I was sad about that.
Today, daddy dropped you off at daycare later than your usual time at 7:10am and then he went straight to work out at the gym. Mommy went to get her hair done at the salon in the morning. Mommy and daddy then had a mini date to eat some dumplings at a Chinese dumpling house and went grocery shopping before we picked you up at daycare at 3:30pm. I know it doesn't sound like an exciting day, but it's days like this where we are all together as a family that I'm truly at my happiest. There was a moment today where we were all in mommy and daddy's bed taking a nap and I was just so happy. I didn't know how wonderful it was going to be having you in our life.
