Mommy and daddy did something bad today. We pretended that it was your birthday today so that we could celebrate it a week before. Since we already had Kendall's 1-year birthday party booked on your actual birthday (July 20) we knew we couldn't do 2 parties on 1 day. Therefore we just told a little white lie and made you believe that today was your actual birthday. We went out early to Whittamore's Farm to pick strawberries as a family. They had a huge kids area by the farm where we got you to play for a good hour. Then we went back home and celebrated your birthday by eating your birthday cake and opening presents. Next year we will celebrate your birthday on your actual birthday. I promise!

of a day so we were all covered in sweat by the time we filled our baskets. |
