Like a scene from a horror movie

This morning I woke up early and was getting ready in the bathroom for my dentist appointment at 9am. Daddy was still sleeping. Suddenly I saw the bathroom door opening and this is what I saw (pic above). I screamed so loud that daddy woke up saying, "Wha… what's wrong?!?!" Your nose must have bled while you were sleeping. Dried blood was all over your face and hands/arms. You literally looked like you got beat up in the Octagon. This isn't the first time your nose bled, but I think this winter is really drying out your skin and nose. Your skin feels like reptile scales right now.

Anyways, we had to wash all your bedding and clothes to get rid of the dried blood. Your nose kept bleeding so we pretty much stayed home to watch over you. Your nose bled 3 more times that morning. I know nose bleeds are common and they are much more common once it happens once. However, it was still upsetting. Actually, now that I think about it, your nose bled yesterday at Auntie Sara's birthday party. I was reading forums and googling nose bleeds, but they all said the same thing- to turn on the humidifier, to keep your nails short (to prevent you from picking your nose), and to keep you in an upright position, bent forward a little to keep the blood from going down your throat. The one thing that I didn't know about was to get a Q-Tip, swab it with a little petroleum jelly or Secaris (you can buy at the pharmacy) and dab it just outside your nose. That apparently would keep your nose from drying out. After I did that, your nose didn't bleed again.

Here you are just chilling at home. I know you look depressed, but you were actually pretty chipper.
