Dear Aidan,
This was the first weekend in a while that you were well enough to go out. Actually you caught another cold (sheesh!) so you aren't perfectly healthy, but mommy and daddy had some Christmas shopping to do today. Daddy wanted to check out hockey sticks at a hockey sports store so we were in there for a while. You were so enamored with all the hockey gear. Usually you get restless after a while, but you were totally fine. There was a little hockey goal and stick set that you kept touching. Maybe you're my future goalie star??? Haha. I don't think so. I looked at a price of some of the hockey gear and I'm not sure if we can afford to put you through playing hockey... It's so expensive!

When daddy bought his stick you kept trying to hold it thinking it was for you. We have a couple of toy hockey sticks at home and although you like it I think you like the real thing better. You were watching some kids hit pucks at the store (there was a little shooting area) and I think that really fascinated you.
