Dear Aidan,
I'm not sure who your personality is more like- mommy or daddy's. You have this mischievous side of you (gae gool jang ee in Korean) that is so unlike both mommy and daddy. Today you were playing a game with mommy that made you laugh so hard. You were in your playpen and you started getting pretty restless in there. I put my foot up on the playpen so that it faced your face. You grabbed my foot and pushed it over! Then you laughed uncontrollably. You laughed even harder when I pretended that it hurt.
Lately you've been quite the Curious George. I guess now that you can walk you want to go everywhere and touch everything. Both daddy and I have to watch you like a hawk. When we give you free reign to walk upstairs you immediately head to our washroom. You seem to love the faucets on our bathtub as well as the draw strings on the window blinds.
You love to turn the knobs on the hot and cold water knobs.
Or pulling on the strings of the window blinds. The good thing is everything you touch for the first time you do with caution. If I say, 'no!' then you start to withdraw.
This was exactly what I was doing. I was saying, 'no!' when you were touching the strings of the window blinds. You then started coming over to where I was.
What a good boy you are!
